OSHA Hazwoper 40 hour online certification
Be prepared to work in the Gulf States where oil may be a concern.
No one knows if the BP oil diaster will affect hurricane claims, but the
insurance companies are very concerned. If tidal surge brings oil from the
Gulf onshore, the affected properties may be treated as hazmat claims.
Adjusters may be required to be OSHA Hazwoper certified to work these
claims. Currently, it is a requirement to work oil claims with BP.
